Cocoa Swatches Review: Everyday Eyeshadow Palette - Mented Cosmetics
By Ofunne Amaka @cocoaswatches

Looking for the perfect eyeshadow that complements dark skin tones? The days of struggling to find a good shade of makeup for women of color are over. At Mented Cosmetics, we realized that many makeup brands were taking a one-size-fits-all approach when it came to their selection of shades and beauty products. Something had to change.

That’s why we've created a line of makeup products that are suited for all skin tones and complexions. Whether you are looking for that perfect hue of lipstick or you're in need of a super-pigmented eyeshadow palette, we know you'll be able to find exactly what you need through our online selection.

Finding the Perfect Shade

We know how difficult it can be to find perfect shades for dark skin tones. To fix that problem, we’ve created our Everyday Eyeshadow Palette that looks beautiful on a variety of skin tones. Whether you are looking for lighter shades for everyday wear or you want to create a smokey eye for your Friday night plans, you have total freedom to change up your look from day to night with just this single palette.

Our Everyday Eyeshadow Palette was designed with your melanin in mind. Each shade packs enough pigment to envelop your eye lids in the gorgeous nude and neutral shades you love. The sophisticated 9-shade collection has exactly the right colors to take you from your morning meeting to post-work drinks and everything in between. Trust us, this is truly a palette you’ll love wearing every day.

WHY WE'RE FEELIN' IT

The name of this palette says it all - it is the quintessential everyday palette! The pans are huge, the shadows are super pigmented and blendable and the palette has a large mirror! The color story has a great mix of brown + gold tones that really compliment medium to deep complexions. I just wish the shade names were on the palette because they are so cute.
