In January we celebrated our 6-year anniversary by creating a jam-packed Anniversary Collection, and giving it away to 10 amazing women. These women were a part of over 1,000 people nominated by our Mented community as “Women Who Work” - that is, women who hold it down for their families, friends and communities by giving their all. Women like that deserve to be treated, and we’re so happy we had a chance to do just that. Read on for a brief snippet about each of our 10 winners.

1. Courtney H. - “Courtney is an amazing, sharp and smart woman. She's the epitome of Grace.”
2. Destini - “Destini is deserving of the Anniversary collection because she is about to graduate from Spelman this spring and working on her beauty content on social media.”
3. Cheryl - “Cheryl is a late-in-life mother who on top of keeping a full time job works tirelessly in her community on various causes.”
4. Rachel - “Rachel deserves this collection because she works hard to not only provide early childhood education to Black and Brown children but also seeks to work with other people in different organizations to make that happen”
5. Loretta - “Loretta is a sign language interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing, she has raised 4 grandchildren who are now all teenagers. She’s always willing to help someone else.”
6. Kathy - “Kathy cares for everyone and expects nothing in return. A true angel.”
7. Stephanie A. - “Stephanie is an incredible Woman Who Works. She currently makes sure that federal regulations are implemented properly and respect Americans' privacy rights.”
8. Christa - “Christa deserves the Anniversary Collection because she is currently trying to start her own technology company, write a book, teaching as an adjunct instructor, and writing articles all at 58 years old!”
9. K’ntrice - “K’ntrice e has a wonderful heart and spirit and deserves this gift to help her feel beautiful and confident in her new position that we know she will be getting any day now!”
10. Aishah - “Aishah deserves the anniversary collection because she is a new mom and I feel as though she doesn’t take enough time for herself. She is killing it as a new mom (while breastfeeding-might I add) and working as a social worker!”
